    Your VIP Club welcomes Casa Grau aka: el bajofondo organic restaurant, Zacateros #19, 152-1623. Located in the rear courtyard of the antique store, in a pleasant garden setting is El Bajofondo. Open Monday through Saturday, Mondays,  Noon - 6 p.m., every other day until 10 p.m. Your host and primary chef is Alicia. Hardly anything, if at all, comes out of a can or box. All foods are prepared from scratch and freshness is a priority. Also they have a tea area and tea time is 4-6 p.m. There's an assortment of gourmet wines. The lunchtime offerings are mostly vegetarian yet El Bajofondo also offers have a  dinner menu that includes meat dishes. VIP Club members may take 10% off when the bill exceeds $100 pesos and when paying cash.

    Pueblo Viejo and Villa Rivera have decided to drop out of the club. Your Club wishes to thank Jesus and Jose Maria for the generosity they have extended club members over the years and we wish them the very best.

     This month of April VIP Club participating restaurant Antigua Trattoria Romana, where Zacateros meets Codo, offers VIP Club members a complimentary glass of wine to each in their party when having dinner in addition to the 10% discount they offer Club members. Thank you Fernando.

     Buen Cafe on Jesus will be closing if they haven't already. Kris Rudolph plans on reopening at a new location come the end of May at Jesus #35 the next block down. Look for the new opening and Kris' eclectic and tasty menu.

     John Adams, formerly Ren Ellis Leather has moved again and this time to Canal #9, a larger space. Rebecca, and son John, are adding inventory from some of San Miguel's best artists and designers. The VIP Club's 10% discount only applies only to John Adams or Ren Ellis designs.

    Your VIP Club welcomes the legal services of International Lawyer, David Barrow. David has been practicing international law for many years and much of that time has been in Mexico. He is totally bilingual. Rather it be a will or forming of business, personal matters or real estate David wields his expertise, protects assets, from here that has bite on both sides of the border and renders legal advice and creates documents.      VIP Club member Mary Jane Miller will be conducting a special paint workshop that employs Egg Tempra. The workshop will take place Sunday April 26 to Friday May 1 at Monastery of the Soledad.      VIP Club member Laura Reyes invites all to attend fashion Sundays with exquisite photos and fashion designs and paintings by Matthieu Kuhn from 10- 2 p.m. at 28 de Abril #50 in Col. San Antonio.

    In our last newsflash we asked members to suggest some items around town they could get VIP Club discounts. We got great responses. Members asked for discounts on skin-care products and discounts on Spas and discounts on the hot springs outside town.     Be on the look out for new restaurants and other nifty services coming into the club by the end of the month.
