Biblioteca Publico, our local library, Insurgentes #25, desires to increase
its membership. They've enlisted Your VIP Club for help. Buy or renew your VIP

Members remember what has become one of San Miguel's very best fund raisers
that's now the 3rd Annual International Chjili Cook-off, 2009, taking place Saturday,
January 24, Noon- 6 p.m. at Hotel Real de MInas. Great music, family entertainment,
children under 12 free, international and local chili cooks, door prizes, great
food and drink. Tickets $80 pesos (cheap) get tickets in advance at Nirvana's,
Romanos, Casa Maxwell, Longhorn Smokehouse and up on the Jardin, benefitting:
Centro de Crecimiento, (Rehabilitation, Education and Training for Children with
Disabilities.) (It's a great cause.)
